2140 Studio

Machine speed. Human judgment.

We’re a product, design and engineering studio. We build critical software for companies that care how it’s made.

Between us, we’ve shipped complex software at startups and enterprises, including SOC 2‑audited services. Our work is private, and we don’t publish our client list.

We take introductions, not bookings.
If someone you trust knows us, ask them to connect us.

The tools have changed. The bar has gone up.

Software can now be written, tested and shipped at a pace no team could match a few years ago. The plumbing that used to eat weeks now takes hours. That frees people for the part that decides whether software is any good: what to build, how it should feel, and where it has to hold up.

The same speed cuts the other way. When nobody has a hand on it, code works until it doesn’t, products drift from what anyone intended, and small shortcuts compound into expensive ones.

Speed without judgment doesn’t save time. It moves the cost to later.

We use state‑of‑the‑art tools everywhere they make the work better, and we say plainly where they don’t. Someone still has to decide what’s worth building, hold the line on quality, and own the call when it matters. That’s our work, and we do it as a team that already works as one.

We take on a few projects at a time and work alongside your people. When we leave, the software is sound and your team is stronger than when we arrived.
